Who Were the Martyrs of Wigtown?
28 In Stock
1000000045
In Wigtown, South West Scotland, there is a stake out at sea to commemorate the drownings of two women in 1685. Who were these women and why were they drowned? Lindsay Banks weaves the stories of the two Margaret's together in this short story. Part fact and part fiction, this is a story of two brave women who were true to their beliefs, brave enough to stand up for what they believed to be true, regardless of the consequences.
